Software Test Engineer - Cepheid

Cepheid is a leading molecular diagnostics company that is dedicated to improving healthcare by developing, manufacturing, and marketing accurate yet easy-to-use molecular systems and tests. In our facilities in Solna we develop and manufacture diagnostics tests that improve patient outcome all over the world. 

About us

Cepheid works to improve healthcare. Our latest product is a cloud based software platform that is providing administrative and analytics support for our GenXpert product family. C360 is used to detect and predict disease outbreaks. As a Software Test Engineer you will be part of the software development team and together with them be responsible to design, implement and execute automated testing for the C360 platform.



Responsibilities

Together with the software development team you will be responsible for the automated test development and the product. You will provide software verification documentation including test plans, and verification reports. You will also be responsible to interact with cross functional stakeholders from SQA, marketing and service. The role consists of both individual hands-on work and contributing to the team work.

Qualifications 

- Bachelor's /Master's degree within a relevant area
- Knowledge and experience within Java (preferably in Unix environment)
- Knowledge and experience from Selenium
- Knowledge of developing automated tests using Junit framework
- Experience with REST, JSON
- Experience with Git, Linux (command line)
- Fluent in English


Preferred qualifications

- Knowledge of API testing
- Knowledge of BDD, cucumber framework
- Experience from Linux
- Background from medical device industry or regulated industry
