Job Description


As a Software Test Engineer in our team, you will be working close together with an experienced customer development team, supporting projects related to in-vehicle software development. You will take part in analyzing and reviewing requirements, defining test plans and test cases, implementing test cases, run test suits, creating test reports, testing product increments, regression testing, as well as test automation. In the team we perform both functional/component qualification testing as well as component integration tests. To be successful in this role you must be passionate about testing, be communicative and enjoy working closely with the development team.
Expectations
• Review requirements and groom test ideas both within the test team and with the developers.
• Investigate and/or discuss findings with developers.
• Create and run black box tests.


Qualifications


Personal profile
• Master/Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
• Strong sense of quality, customer and goal focused.
• Passionate about testing.
• Relevant experience of testing embedded systems.
• Experience of C++
• Experience of working with CANoe, CANalyzer.
• Experience of ISO26262.
• Experience of testing safety relevant software.
• Experience of working with requirements.
• Experience of agile methodology.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in written form, English is a must.
• Experience of test automation is a merit.

Skills & Background
You are a team player with strong social skills, a cross-functional mindset, and you take your own initiatives. Furthermore, you have a strong drive, a “can-do” positive attitude, and you take ownership of your assignments. The work we perform is very hands-on why experience of working with embedded devices or similar is a must and that you appreciate working close to the hardware.
