Software Test Engineer, QA Coach

We offer you the opportunity to join our Innovation organization as a Software Test Engineer, QA Coach. This role will be part of the complete software life cycle, and you will have responsibilities with a great variety, as the role includes story refinement, planning, test execution, automation, coaching and reporting.
 
You will be welcomed by one of our scrum teams consisting of testers and developers in Linköping, working to bring good and high-quality software to our customers, all over our markets in Europe.

We will challenge you to bring out your best as you will meet with Product Owners, build test scenarios, coach developers to address risks and execute exploratory testing, on both functional and non-functional aspects.

We also need you to bring your communication skills as you will report bugs, status and results, coach people, have meetings with clients etc. One part of the job will be learning and implementing our automation framework and create automated test cases.

Additionally, you will have a holistic perspective of Verisure’s systems landscape. As we work in an agile environment you will also be a part of, and contribute to, general scrum team activities.

To summarize, you will:
* Work with back end testing
* Build test scenarios
* Coach developers to address functional and non-functional risks
* Execute exploratory testing on an end user level
* Move our initiative with test automation forward
* Report bugs, status and results

What you bring
We believe you have +3 yrs experience within the software test area, with a good understanding of the development and an agile way of working, enabling you to take initiatives and to work in a self-sufficient way.

You have a genuine interest for back end testing, and you can easily see the bigger picture of a system. Your drive and engagement are key traits in the selection.

Most software is written in Java, and we use T-SQL, therefore you must have experience with these programming languages. If you have previously worked with test automation and Microservices that will be highly valued by us.
