SOFTWARE TEST LEAD - Gothenburg

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Software Test Lead to work in cross functional agile group and co-ordinate the test activities of several development teams and testers as they develop a mobile app and supporting systems needed for the entire feature to work.
What you'll do:
● Lead Software Developers and Test Engineers to develop, maintain and improve the automated testing strategy, coverage and quality for customer functions
● Ensure that teams have a quality regression test strategy in place for regular software releases to the customer.
● Liaising with other teams to ensure that bugs are correctly handled and coaching of testers and developers in areas of Software Test and Quality.
● Work with System Architects and others to ensure that testability is a core part of our features.
● Participate in the planning and implementation of system and system integration tests for both large, complex assignments and smaller ones.
● Design and develop test plans, and test cases based upon functional and design specifications, execute test cases, and analyse and report test results to the teams.
● Reviews and approves the work of project team members in the writing of scripts, expected results, test results, and defect descriptions. Ensures best practices are followed and testing activities stay on schedule.
● Work in partnership with Scrum team members, including engineering and product management, to deliver business functionality on time, with the required quality, and that meets the acceptance criteria.
Who you are:
● Possess BSc degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience in Software Quality Assurance.
● Solid experience of testing and test management and are interested in different development and test methodologies.
● Several years of experience and proficiency with test automation, CI/CD, Embedded development, Mobile app development, agile tools such as Jira, Git and Jenkins, and BLE technology.
● Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills of English language.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
● Have expertise in software development processes with a focus on Agile.
