Your role

As a Software Test Manager/Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, which ranges from tactical training systems to autonomous systems and IT Infrastructure in the naval military domain. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the testing lifecycle to ensure products meet our high-quality standards. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions.



Key Responsibilities

* Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with project goals and timelines.
* Test Design: Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on requirements and user stories.
* Automation: Work on test automation frameworks and scripts to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
* Team Management (for Test Manager role): Lead, mentor, and manage a team of test engineers. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development process.
* Defect Management: Track and manage defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring they are prioritized, documented, and resolved.
* Reporting & Metrics: Provide regular test progress reports, metrics, and quality assessments to stakeholders.
* Continuous Improvement: Advocate for quality best practices, identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and team skills.



Your profile

Requirements:

* Extensive experience in software testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
* Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., , etc.).
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
* Solid experience in manual and automated software testing.
* Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
* Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



Desirable Skills

* Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
* Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting.
* Experience in cloud platforms and web services testing (e.g., AWS, Azure, REST APIs).
* ISTQB certification or similar testing certifications are a plus.



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
