We are searching for a Software tester to join our team at Digpro’s headquarters in Stockholm. We’re expanding to new markets and investing more than ever in our products – we need your help to succeed.
About the job
As a software tester at Digpro you work inside our development teams as a part of the development cycle of our NIS/GIS application.
The main areas of responsibility are to ensure that daily new development and regression bug fixes that take place maintain a high level of quality. For example do manual and automated testing, maintain and update test specifications, advice and counsel developers and product managers. As a software tester you’ll partake in many different projects, both agile and waterfall together with different teams at the company.
The tasks also include improving structures and routines needed to streamline and optimize the test work, for example through automated tests but also through new routines and structured processes.
As a software tester at Digpro, you are driven to develop in the role, at the same time as you are happy to share knowledge and experiences for the common goal of raising the competence of the team and the quality of our products.
What you’ll do
• Manual testing of our java application
• Work with UI test automation of our web application
• Design test cases
• Create and maintain test data
• Identify and report bugs
• Work inside our teams with developers, UX-designer, consultants and product managers as a tester
• Maintain, organize, standardize and update existing test specifications
• Partake in product development projects
• Future improve our way of working with software testing
Who you are
• Relevant education for testing (from university or vocational courses such as Nackademin)
• Previous work experience as a software tester (preferred)
• Experienced in test automation (Selenium, Playwrite, Cypress or similar) (Preferred)
• Experienced in API testing (Postman or SoapUI) (Preferred)
• A good understanding and above all curiosity about different testing tools and methods
• A good understanding and knowledge of how the test work needs to be conducted in different sub-areas (such as integration test, test automation, manual testing and testing of mobile devices)
• Have a general understanding and feeling for UX/UI
• Have a strong interest for test and quality assurance
• An excellent communicator and fluent in English and Swedish
• A team player, willing to share information and expertise with other team members
• A strong individual contributor with a natural ability to build relationship
