Software tester

Vimla is not just another mobile carrier and never will be. Ever since the launch of Vimla in 2014, we've changed what people expect from a phone operator. By pushing boundaries, we have managed to become the . And more importantly, we have earned the trust and loyalty of our customers to an extent normally unheard of in our industry. This year we were even awarded Carrier of the Year based on our customer satisfaction. Things are good, but we're just getting started.

In 2020, all departments at Vimla are growing considerably.  While this gives us the opportunity to do even more interesting things, it also creates a few big challenges for our tech department, including:
* Considerable growth in users, development team, and other departments
* Migrating all of our customer base to a new type of telco network
* Developing new types of services based on new telco capabilities
* Launching a developer portal where our users can build apps on top of their phone numbers
* Helping other departments become more efficient by making best-in-class modern tooling, including AI.
* Building an efficient work environment for development with excellent ergonomics  

The role

As a tester, you will participate in activities such as:

1.     Requirement Analysis and create test cases to have good test coverage of delivered features.

2.     Execute Test Cases to identify bugs and improve the software quality.

3.     Coordinate test activities during different phases of the releases.

4.     Build Regression test suites which can be used for both manual and automated purposes.

5.     Perform manual, functional, integration, load and E2E testing on web and mobile applications.

We believe you already...

Have a wide knowledge and passion for testing in general (web and mobile applications and API Testing). You have probably been working with test for a few years, and acquired knowledge about different test techniques and tools used for testing (API, web, mobile apps) along the way.  Good communications skills are necessary and We highly value drive and curiosity and for this role, we believe you strong analytical skills! You are a team player who establishes contacts easily. 

It's also a plus if you...

Have worked with these tools  Postman,  Jmeter, Katalon Studio or similar tools.
