Are you looking for your next career challenge? Then YOU should join our team for accelerated success.
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Our purpose is to drive the shift towards a sustainable transport system, that is better for both people and the planet. Are you an embedded developer and want to contribute to this shift? Then you are welcome to join our team with a mission to create great embedded functions and value for our customers.
Who we are
Our group is responsible for the embedded functions in two areas. One is the visibility area spanning from driver interactions to control the exterior lighting to more advanced lighting control. The second area is to provide an advanced interface to third-party equipment and their electrical systems. We strive to make this interface best in class in terms of usability, flexibility, and stability. Both systems are implemented in C-code and to some extent model based by using SIMULINK.
Our group consists of members with different backgrounds and different skills within embedded function development such as programming, testing, and requirement specification. Everyone is contributing with a lot of engagement in order to deliver an excellent product for Scania and our customers. The group mentality is characterized by high productivity together with a great teamwork where everyone is helping each other to achieve a good result.
We are now looking for a new team member who would like to join us and become an important part of shaping our future products.
In this position
As an embedded test engineer, you are a vital part of a development team. The team is continuously delivering new functionality to improve our product and solutions for the end customer. Your role in the team would be to develop and perform tests (SIL, HIL, and manual) and by doing so securing the quality of our product. You will also contribute to the team by creating test strategies and test plans as well as working with test processes and their methods. You work closely together with your colleagues in the group and together you shape and develop the functions in our systems.
Your profile
We are looking for a curious, kind, and team-orientated colleague who can strengthen our team when it comes to system testing. You have some years of experience within function development and embedded systems. Educational background is Master of Science in Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with passion for improving and securing the quality of the code by test. You have good skills in python-programming and if you have experience working with HIL-testing it is a valuable merit.
