Job description Test Engineering includes system analysis, functional decomposition, software and test architecture definition, test specifications and implementation, definition, creation, execution and documentation of test cases, test environments and production of appropriate software documentation.All activities are to be carried out in accordance with Bombardier processes and project procedures.It is also important to produce both software and documentation according to the agreed quality standards.Example of the decisions made by the incumbent of this position Choice of design and functionality to meet customer and safety requirements.Choice of functional decomposition and algorithms.Choice of documentation.Qualifications For this position we are looking for a skilled engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience within this line of work.We are looking for a candidate who meet up to the following criterias: Vast experience in analysis and design of Test systems.Experience with specification and documentation of complex technical systems.Knowledge and experience in software and test engineering (real-time, distributed, safe and fault-tolerant systems) Experience and knowledge in C and/or C++ (including tool chain and other languages used in projects) Experience and knowledge in awk/VB/expect/tk/tcl/C++.Experience in task and object-oriented design and development.
