As a Solution Engineer, you will be part of the maintenance team handling all inquiries and requests related to the finance platform. You will work to fully understand systems that are part of the platform, identify actual & potential software problems and coordinate with other stakeholders as needed to resolve issues.
You will report to the Finance Platform Manager, VFS Digital & IT – HQ. The following locations are possible: Sweden (Gothenburg) & Poland (Warsaw or Wroclaw).


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot, provide first analysis, and coordinate with others as needed to resolve issues
Analyze/solve an incident and if needed assign it to the correct technical/infrastructure team
Cooperate with external supplier concerning software issues
Perform application issues root cause analysis and problem investigation
Coordinate the planning of application maintenance, evolution and enhancement activities
Participate in project phases involving platform solutions: installation, testing, preparing for the support phase, roll-out, etc.
Manage securities, compliance and permissions within the platform solutions
Provide case status reports to key stakeholders
Follow, improve guidelines, work instructions and task descriptions
Support the solution development process by providing business and technical best practices and identifying, analyzing functionalities necessary to cover business needs
Plan and Support release management, ensuring proper coordination of functional and technical changes

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or specialized diploma in Computer Science or related field preferred
5+ years experience with business analysis, incident and problem management for multiple solutions
3+ years experience with MSSQL database management jobs, monitoring, procedures
3+ years experience with support & maintenance of Navision and/or Business Central
Ideally will have experience working with multiple solutions across multiple countries
Experience with decomposing complex IT systems into re-usable components is a plus
Good knowledge of maintenance & support of integrations is a plus

Advanced level of English (oral/written)

Experience of working multi-nationally across the globe
Additional European language(s) is desirable
