What to expect
We are looking for a Solution architect who is passionate about seeing the big picture of a global systems landscape and how it all fits together. You will influence that landscape, both with changes to existing systems and especially with new business demands needing new solutions.
Who are you?
You have an interest and ability to understand and work with the interactions, dependencies, and flows between the big picture. It’s important to understand the strategy needs, requirements, goals, and processes, with focus on solution structures and IT tools / IT systems.
You also have a true agile mindset and seek to develop both yourself and our organization. You are humble, sociable, and easy to work with.
You have probably worked as a Solution Architect before and therefore are acquainted with the following competencies:
• A sound understanding of designing secure solutions in an agile environment to bring efficiency and productivity improvements to users.
• Influence and have a dialogue with stakeholders across various management teams and value streams.
• Verbal and written communication skills, ability to create effective solution proposals and review them with stakeholders at multiple levels.
We expect you to be curious, have great problem-solving skills, and have a genuine interest in IT. You must be proficient in written and spoken English.
What you will do
• Work with solutions that satisfy the solution needs within Scania R&D globally.
• Monitor and evaluate Scania and The TRATON GROUP for changes and new initiatives affecting the solution layer.
• Provide information and consult, regarding questions related to the solution layer area.
• Use modeling frameworks and tools (for example UML or TOGAF) to facilitate communication of solutions.
• Knowledge of developing solutions using cloud services such as AWS, Azure, etc. is an advantage.
• Be a good team player with the ability to make things happen and challenge the way we work today.
