Solution Architect

Right now, we are looking for a Solution Architect to Data & Analytics to drive our journey towards a truly data driven organization.
I am Mathias Olofsson and I am leading the Data Services team for Sweden within Data and Analytics in Telia Company. We are a great bunch of people, and I am super proud of every member of our team, but also very excited to extend the team with new skilled people to ensure higher delivery throughput, future target architecture and DevOps way of working!

If you seek for a role to play an important part of Telia Company´s data driven journey and want to work in an ever-changing environment within the Data & Analytics IT domain you are perfect for this role. We are currently on a very exiting change journey where we are implementing a new target architecture within data and Analytics as well as a new operating model with more business focus and DevOps ways of working.
You will be part of a larger Data and Analytics Architecture community and you will be responsible to develop and govern the target architecture in order to deliver on our overall strategy. Further you’ll be essential in the decision making with respect to execute on the strategy and spearhead the implementation of capabilities in the domain, spanning from Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions to application layer and analytical- and visualization tools. Besides you’ll safeguard the needed framework for orchestration and governance of the entire BI & Analytics eco-system including master data management.

Required experience:
BI/DW & Big Data experience is required (+5 years)
Experience designing solutions, solution architectures and implementing enterprise-level BI & Analytics solutions
Experience working with one or more Cloud solutions
Experience working in a complex IT environment with large data volumes
Good communication skills and fluent in English, spoken and written.

Meriting:
Experience in building Data Models
Experience working with Hadoop and its eco systems components
Experience in documenting technical implementation blueprints of infrastructure solutions
Experience in DevOps and agile way of working, supporting end-to-end business and IT from demand to value realization.
