Sandvik IT Global Shared Services (GSS) is a support function with the mission of meeting the IT needs of Sandvik's business globally. This is done in an international environment, with various areas of responsibility, such as IT architecture, management systems, process development, IT security and IT support.
Our department, Mobility Product and Sales, is responsible for providing architectural solutions and designs, and we deliver top quality services to meet the high standards of our customers' requirements and the businesses objectives. We are now looking for a strategic and creative Solution Architect to strengthen our delivery and ensure continuous improvements. In this position, you will be located in Sandviken, Sweden.
Job Summary
As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for understanding and transforming customer needs and requirements into well-functioning designs. Coordinating several ongoing projects and taking the initiative in finding new solutions by working with continuous improvements, is an important part of your daily work. You align designs and implement solutions, as well as provide feedback, according to the architectural guidance and constraints stated in the Sandvik Architecture Framework. Furthermore, you constantly communicate and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders of our global organization.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in IT and at least five years' experience from working in senior positions as a Solution Architect or similar positions, focusing on development and solutions for CRM systems. Experience from project management and working with cloud solutions is an advantage, as is previous knowledge from development of the force.com platform and the use of programming languages such as Apex and Visualforce. As we work in a global environment, you must have excellent skills in English.
