What's in it for you?
At Enterprise digital foundation, we are responsible for the application portfolio and the different tools around this. We also promote modern DevOps ways of working by helping teams implement modern toolchains and coaching them in up-to-date software development practices. Our primary stakeholders are most of Volvo Cars, from finance to software developers.
We are looking for a full-time architect for the ServiceNow workflow foundation team. You will be supported by a tightly knit co-located agile team at Volvo Cars HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will be a big part of the change journey that we started with ServiceNow and get to make decisions and help our foundation team to make ServiceNow the greatest experience at Volvo Cars.
We work in a SAFe/Agile model where trust and a speak-up culture are important to us, and we hope that you feel the same way.
What you'll do
You will make high-level design choices for our ServiceNow platform and help the product owners with their roadmap. Help us create an implementation plan from business cases we receive from Service Now. You will also be a member of the architecture governance board and represent Service Now in the community of practice for architects.

• You will help the product owners to be proactive in their work by highlighting technical debts and other areas we need to improve in ServiceNow
• You will help Service Now to create business cases for different modules we need to acquire
• You will help the product owners to create implementation plans for modules
• Help the organization to formalize ServiceNow processes, policies, and guidelines
• Help the development teams in different discussions around the platform to reach decisions
• Drive the architecture governance board for ServiceNow
• Be on top of the ServiceNow roadmap
Who are you?
We see you have five years as an architect in the ServiceNow platform before, preferably from several organizations and global teams and you probably have a certification. We notice you have experience taking responsibility for the architecture in the solution portfolio together with your architect colleagues and working on all layers of a solution or service stack, from the presentation layer down to the infrastructure layer. You are capable to drive analysis and architecture in portfolio pre-studies and act as a Lead architect in prioritized initiatives.
As a person, you have analytical skills, and you love to solve problems. You are good at communication, both when it comes to technical details as well as business needs. You have the ability to build relationships and networks. You act with a sense of ownership and work with the team in mind. You like multitasking and taking ownership. Being a team player with a positive mindset and a customer-oriented attitude is in your nature, and you know the various challenges. You must care for empowerment, inspiration and a “can do” attitude.
The position is located in Gothenburg, and the major part of the workweek is needed in the office.
