We are looking for two Solution Architects to the Product Engineering & Requirement team, belonging to the Process & IT tools department at Range & Product Development, IoS
Job Description
In the Product Engineering & Requirements team you will work with our Label Solutions.
You will be part of one of 3 solution teams within Processes & IT Tools in Range & Product Development. Each team consists of several Solution Owners, Business Analysts and Solution Architects working together developing user friendly business solutions supporting the product development process at IKEA.
As a Solution Architect you will mainly work with following:
Create high level design for solutions and improvements
Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document the requirements, create and shape ideas into current state, future state and transition states to guide the detailed design and delivery of business solutions
Lead solution activities within the domain, establish solution/infrastructure design in accordance to the architecture and provide technology advice
Provide expertise for roadmaps, pre-studies and design workshops within projects
Secure the Area architecture vision and goals in the solution architecture and the system development process
Perform solution, system and infrastructure design reviews to support running business, provide guidance towards service improvements and service transition

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you need to have:
General knowledge about the applicable standard IT domain and market
Experience from implementation/realization of IT products and services
Good knowledge about the role of architecture and being able to identify areas for architecture focus in a project/line tasks
Good knowledge and experience about system integration in complex environments
Good understanding of project and software lifecycle management.
Steering according to processes and methods for developing, integrating and building IT system
Ability to communicate adapted to different stakeholders e.g. describe complex technical details in a simple way or translate business requirements in technical details
Ability to lead your work in a fast developing, changing environment

Additional information
We work in an international environment which could lead to some travelling but primary location for this assignment is Älmhult.

We manages the portfolio of all initiatives with an IT component and lead and develop current and new solutions connected to the product development process. This is done in projects, major enhancements initiatives or in a continuous improvements work. We work in an agile way in close co-operation with our external IT Supplier.
