We are now looking for a solution Architect to our Value Creation Team responsible in setting the stage and building our Remote vehicle controlling functions, where our drivers remotely from an app can control and access vehicle functions. What we do
We are responsible for building remote vehicle controlling functions which gives access and control of vehicle functions to our drivers from our Scania Driver mobile App. Examples here are Climate control functions, BEV charging functions such as departure scheduling, remote start/stop of public charging, etc.

YOU WILL

Be accountable for our technical roadmap supporting our business and strategy within mobile app development and Remote Vehicle Control functions. Support our development teams in their daily and make sure they have a clear understanding on architectural, security, Data privacy and legal compliance when needed.

You will also have a lot of contact with other teams across the organization at Customer Digitalization, R&D, IT and various other parts of Scania.

In order to thrive and be successful in this role, you also need to be good at simplifying complex things and communicate well, as you will interact with many within and outside our department.

We expect you to have a minimum of 3+ years of work experience as an architect working with large and complex systems. You are technically well versed and enjoy keeping your-self up to date with latest trends and technology. Your domain background could either be within Java or .NET. You also bring experience of AWS, Microservices architecture and knowledge of 3pp integration and mobile app development. Additionally, your English is fluent, both verbally and written. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is expected.
