Our goal in Enterprise Architecture is to ensure great business operational flows and solutions that empower Schibsted employees in their daily work, today and in the future.
As responsible for architecture tooling in our Enterprise Architecture team, you will lead the work in how to enable the teams with the power of our architecture tool Ardoq. You will develop the models in the tool and integrations to different sources. You have a close relationship with the teams to understand their needs and train them in how to use the architecture tool, both for operational tasks like troubleshooting and to plan changes.
You will also be working as a solution architect in some projects and new initiatives in Schibsted Enterprise Technology (E-Tech) where we need to assign a solution architect.
As a member of the Enterprise Architect team you will also help us to drive our internal processes to execute efficiently and develop our skills, processes and tooling within architecture and operational flow.
Your main responsibilities will be:

Responsible for the architecture tooling set up in Schibsted

Collaborate with other tech leads and solution architects across Schibsted

Share knowledge with teams in E-Tech to ensure quality in architecture and operational tools

Support as Solution Architect:
-
Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to capture functional and technical requirements that can be included in software selection processes and solution designs

Document solution blueprints that address business, application, integration and infrastructure requirements

Partner with service managers, project managers, business analysts and developers to build solutions that align with Schibsted’s architectural standards and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits).

Perform solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. build decisions, and early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case.
Skills & Requirements:
-
Documented experience of at least 5 years in developing IT solutions, of which at least 1 year as a Solution Architect

Experience in Architecture tooling & processes

Broad knowledge of different technical domains in IT

Experience in solution design, data modeling, information modeling

M.Sc. in Computer Engineering or similar education or experience

The position is challenging with varied tasks, alternating between the holistic view and the technical details.
You will report to the Director of CIO Office & Business Services and will work closely with other solution architects and tech leads across Enterprise Technology and Schibsted.
