At SEB, we are looking for a Solution Architect to help design and architect our new core ledger system. The area of Cash Management is undergoing a major transformation from a business and market as well as from an architectural perspective. In your role will be an important key role in the establishment of a new core system architecture.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As an experienced Solution Architect with solid knowledge of the mainframe platform you will be a vital part of the team establishing a new core system architecture based on the IBM Z platform. To design and architect a core ledger system at the heart of a financial institution.
You will cooperate with colleagues from Business and Operations to IT infrastructure, Developers and other Architects within SEB and support the development of a core component in one of SEBs most important IT investments. We need to find an approach to do the transformation one step at a time using both new and proven technology. The end goal is to ensure that we have a stable, modern, and maintainable platform when we are done. As a Solution Architect, you will be one of the most important drivers in this exciting transformation journey!

Your team:
You will be a part of Shared Service and Architecture in Cash Management and Accounts & Payments Domain. This team includes 12 Solution Architects, several Test Engineers as well as Business Analysts. The team collaborate and work horizontally. We are located in a modern office next to Mall of Scandinavia, Solna. When we are not working remotely, there are restaurants, a modern company gym and the opportunity to participate in group training session every week.

YOUR PROFILE

To be a good fit you possess excellent networking and communication skills with both business and IT. You are confident in speaking in front of a group and have the ability to convince why changes need to take place. You have good leadership skills in the term om leading work and has an entrepreneurial thinking. In addition, you are comfortable working both on your own and in a team and are fluent in English.

We are looking for a person with experience in architecture and deep knowledge and experience of the IBM Z platform. You have worked as an architect and have good knowledge in application development. You have designed systems and written code, and you are passionate about what you do and in creating a great architecture. Lastly, you have the ability to understand different technical platforms and how they can be used together to create an efficient and future-proof infrastructure.
