About the Job
We are looking for a Solution Architect at Business Solutions Group Functions for our Area ?Optimise Business Performance ? Platform & Data? for our office in Malmö.

As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for creating and implementing solution design for different Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions. The solution design is based on business requirements and IT architecture blueprints, concepts and principles. You will be working in a team consisting of business analysts, solution owners/project managers, business/IT architects and IKEA?s external vendors for development and testing. Excellent knowledge of and experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solution design, preferably strong competence on InfoSphere Platform, good knowledge of the relevant business process, its strategies and connections to other processes. Good knowledge of IT standards, infrastructure and platforms, development concepts, system integrations and processes. Good knowledge in software lifecycle management. Good understanding of requirements engineering process and configuration management. Solid understanding of testing. Good knowledge in various interface technologies. Good at facilitating, planning and managing workshops and activities. Good communication skills in written/spoken English.

About the Assignment
You will be involved in transfer business requirements (functional/non-functional) and architecture frameworks into a solution design. Design and document a concrete, robust, and appropriate solution design covering process, technology and integration views. Responsible for securing an understanding of the solution design to relevant vendor stakeholders. Secure and verify that the development (through external suppliers) is following the solution design. Support service transition activities and handover to operations. Provide expertise to secure the daily operation of the solution, when needed. Support and validate the low-level design for development activities (project and releases) in cooperation with vendor resources, if needed.
