Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

Then this may be the ideal opportunity for you! We are currently looking for a Solution architect who is passionate about agile working methods, loves development and enjoys the challenge of getting people onboarded to achieve a common goal. 

 

What you will get 

You will be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for CAD/vPDM architecture at Scania. You will also work closely with the development teams. The work also includes a good deal of cross-functional contact with other functions within Scania and the Traton group. You will get a lot of personal development in a technology-intensive global company with the possibility to influence and be driver for Scania’s digitalization journey. 

 

What you will do 

Scania is in the middle of an agile transformation and our next CAD/vPDM platform will be a foundation for that. One of the goals with the platform is to achieve digital trust, to have a digital thread and a digital twin.  

Your will be to continue helping us replacing the current CAD/vPDM platform based on CATIA/ENOVIA/DELMIA V5 with a more modern platform based on 3DExperience platform 

You will have a helicopter view of the solution and how it fits in to the application landscape at Scania. You also need to sometimes dig into details of how the system is functioning and how it’s integrated to other systems. You will participate in the solution design and later on take ownership of what we currently are building. 

 
Your skills  

We are looking for candidates who have: 


• experience in developing and implementing PLM systems with a modern architecture 
• knowledge in the 3DExperience platform 
• ability to anchor and implement an architecture vision within the organisation 
• ability to map business requirements into a logical data model   
• great communications skills and used to communicate with different stakeholders in the organisation 
• a university education within IT or equivalent experience 
• fluent in English 

You are solution-oriented, analytical but also driving and leading and it comes natural to you to share your knowledge and experience with your colleagues.
