About the job

As our new Solution Architect for Custom Development, you will ensure a sustainable and reliable framework for development of solutions in the Azure Cloud environment using primarily .net technology.

You will continuously interact with developers and guide them in technical decisions. You will also work tightly together with other Solution Architects as well as the Enterprise Architect for the Service domain (also under recruitment) and together you will optimize the solution landscape.

You will support the implementation of an agile DevOps culture within the agile teams you are working with.

Your primary tasks will be (extract, not complete list):
* Ensure that the architectural runway for the custom developed solutions, like Installed Base, is set and well governed.
* Support our agile teams with guidelines and architectural decisions for development within Azure cloud services and .net domain.
* Act as a change ambassador for our implementation of our agile way of working.

What you know

You have strong technical experience in similar roles, either as solution or domain architect. Furthermore, we prefer a candidate with solid, hands-on experience, from working with Azure cloud services as well as .net technology. It is preferable to have experience of both backend and frontend technologies, as well as security, both intrusion and access.  

You have extensive experience in Agile methodologies and preferably Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) which is currently implemented at Alfa Laval.

In this job you will heavily contribute to the journey of implementing the agile ways of working in Alfa Laval!
