This is an opportunity to join a team within R&D at Scania focusing on the UNECE Cyber Security legislation. We offer an interesting and challenging role in automotive with focus on Cyber Security. You will work with the Embedded development teams and our organization to interpret, guide and implement legal requirements regarding Cyber Security, Software Updates and Functional safety.
Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. In the development towards autonomous and electrified vehicles we face new challenges within the security area and this is where we need you!
YOU WILL
Here you will be part of the department within R&D that is working with Scania’s Embedded platform. We have a newly formed team of architects focusing on the Embedded development process and the new UNECE legislations for Cyber Security and Software Updates for heavy vehicles. Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for the coordination of methods and artefacts that will be developed in order to meet the requirements for heavy vehicles from Cyber Security perspective. You will e.g. work with standards such as ISO21434 but also other legislations that affect the automotive industry like ISO24089 for Software Updates and ISO26262 for Functional Safety.
Activities within the role are to:
- analyze both systems in our tool chain and processes to find and establish changes
- identify gaps in our tool chain for our software development teams to work with in order to fulfil the current legislations
- share knowledge and educate the electrical/embedded organization regarding Cyber Security and how to use the tool chain
- help the organization interpret legal requirements regarding Cyber Security, Software Update and Functional Safety concerning the automotive industry
- synchronize and present solutions to other parts of Scania
YOU ARE
You have a technical background and several years of experience from an architect role within R&D or IT, and deep interest in software and Cyber Security. You are able to understand the technical challenges for both systems and processes and the need for changing the way of working to adapt to new legislation in order to develop safe products. Experience within Embedded systems and automotive or other similar industries is meritorious as well as experience from ISO21434 and UNECE-regulations. Since you will be working in a global environment you express yourself fluently, both in speech and writing, in English. You also have good knowledge in Swedish.
You are easy to collaborate with, imaginative, analytic and have great communication skills. You are happy working in a team but are also capable of working independently when required. A strategic overview comes naturally to you. Your values, acting and sharing of expertise guides others in doing what is right, and you are comfortable sharing your knowledge in presentations and lectures.
