Right now, we’re looking for a Solution Architect for Application Delivery Control to our Cybersecurity Technology team within Sandvik IT. A flexible networker with a collaborative mindset and a curiosity for innovation and improvements.
As much as we truly value your customer centric, can-do attitude, you do need some previous experience from the field. You've been working for at least five years as a solution architect and most likely within cybersecurity, where experience of the F5 platform is essential. Good knowledge of LTM, APM and ASM as well as BigIQ is a plus. To understand the technical core of this network security and ITIL processes is necessary, and also how to make it work in an international, complex organization with multiple stakeholders and suppliers, lots of requirements and shifting needs. You easily connect with people and build trusting relations, and you’re skilled in explaining technical information in ways that makes sense for everyone. Naturally, this means that you communicate fluently in English, while knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
So, let’s talk about the job
In this position, you’re responsible for the strategy and implementation, as well as for ensuring stable operations for all applications using F5. To find appropriate technology, solve technical issues and look at ways to make the most out of our solution designs, you map business requirements into technology solutions through interaction with the business, IT solution stakeholders, vendors and industry experts. You ensure that the designed solutions are successfully implemented by supporting project teams to confirm system evolvement and delivery as maintainable finished solutions. Your mission includes reviewing the current technology architecture landscape and seeking new ways to leverage, improve and/or extend corporate technology investments, and you research new and emerging technologies for practical application to business problems and strategic initiatives. You also take part in driving our architectural standards and you bring your technical knowledge as you contribute to various cybersecurity projects.
Your main responsibilities include:
Developing and anchoring technical roadmaps
Managing the lifecycle of the product
Validating the quality and design of solutions suggested by our suppliers
Managing operation and maintenance to guarantee stable delivery for all applications using the F5 platform

You’ll have flexible working conditions, but for this job, your base is in either Kista (Stockholm) or Sandviken. As your colleagues and our partners are spread across different locations, some travel could be included during normal circumstances.
