As digital disruption sweeps through the manufacturing industry, we continue our forward-thinking journey to always stay two steps ahead in protecting our IT business environment when new technology evolves. Right now, we’re looking for a Solution Architect for End Point Protection to our Cybersecurity Technology team within Sandvik IT. A flexible collaborator with a positive mindset, passion for change and a curiosity for innovations and improvements.

As much as we truly value your soft skills and your customer centric, can-do attitude, you do need some previous experience from the field. You've most likely been working as a solution architect within cybersecurity, where knowledge of End Point Protection is a big plus. To understand the technical core of this area is necessary, and also how to make it work in an international, complex organization with multiple stakeholders and suppliers, lots of requirements and shifting needs. You easily connect with people and build trusting relations, and you’re skilled in explaining technical information in ways that makes sense for everyone. Naturally, this means that you communicate fluently in English, while knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.

So, let’s talk about the job
You’re one of our key players in contributing to a successful, agile and service-oriented organization for IT product delivery within Sandvik Group. You actively work with detection and incident management, and you improve the technical design and function of current products and services corresponding to the needs of the business, as well as internal guidelines and external trends. Other tasks included in your responsibility are managing the lifecycle of our products, developing and anchoring technical roadmaps and validating the quality of our solutions. New tech often raises questions and a need to search for answers and you process incoming tickets from the business and make our daily operations logical.

You act in close collaboration with our stakeholders and suppliers – and especially with our service architects and product owners - to find appropriate technology, solve technical issues and look at ways to make the most out of our cybersecurity activities. You also take part in driving our architectural standards and you bring your technical knowledge as you contribute to various cybersecurity projects.

You’ll have flexible working conditions, but for this job, your base is in either Kista (Stockholm) or Sandviken. As your colleagues and our partners are spread across different locations, some travel could be included during normal circumstances.
