GIS (Global Information Services), the IT department of Husqvarna, is responsible for the delivery of IT-services throughout the group.
Husqvarna GIS is now searching for a Solution Architect within Manufacturing.

Manufacturing IT Services is a department with a focus on and responsibility for managing IT activities related to Manufacturing within Husqvarna Brand Division
In this department we develop, implement, maintain and support global IT solutions aiming for increased efficiency and customer value.
We are a team striving to deliver high quality and value to our customers as well as continuously improving our services to GIS and Husqvarna Group as a whole.


Your main tasks will be:


Solution Architect with a focus on Manufacturing Execution Systems
Responsible for design and architecture of Manufacturing IT solutions
Part of a solution development team to deliver required solutions to meet the company’s needs
Examine functional and technical specifications and translates them into system design / guidelines
Work in close cooperation with business stakeholders to design scalable solutions 
Contribute in Project support and review activities
Gathering, structuring and analyzing information about competitive landscape and trends within Manufacturing
Collaborate with the global IT organization and partners to ensure compliance with defined architectural standards, security principles etc. Secure adherence to defines standards and procedures
Work as a trusted advisor and contribute to the development of a target system landscape and implementation roadmap for the Husqvarna Division
Work to resolve issues that arise during the development and solution life cycle

 
Travel is occasionally included in the position.
 
Who are you?

It is of importance that you have:


Experience from working in large scale projects with IT architecture and design
Understanding and experience from working with IT solutions for manufacturing like Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Production planning etc
Solid understanding of a variety of programming tools and development platforms

Relevant Background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
You have at least 3 years of relevant experience as an IT Architect/Solution Architect
English and Swedish both written and orally is required for the position.
