Solution Architect - Network Security

About the job
In this position, you work side by side and in great collaboration with a Product Owner who’s responsible for all sourcing contact, delivery and budget, while you’re our expert creating the changes. You provide with deployment advisory services - including best practice design, recommendations and configurations - and you own our high impact problems and technical escalations. To maintain knowledge of all Zscaler products, technologies and services, and pro-actively develop and deliver notifications of new ones, are important parts of your mission. You also help develop and maintain best practices for implementing and supporting Zscaler products – both internally and externally. Based on customer requirements, you provide the Product Owner with clear and constructive feedback and contribute in shaping the future of the platform.
All in all, you’re our expert and go to person who’s able to understand when new technology is emerging, grasp the concept and gain detailed knowledge about the area – taking our network security two steps higher!
The location for this position is Kista.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of networks or security in enterprise environments. You have hands-on knowledge with network troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, Tracerout and MTR and, are able to learn and support cutting edge technologies while context-switching. Strong understanding of how to navigate technical and architectural discussions is a must in this role. It’s also beneficial if you have some kind if industry certification, for example CCIE, JNCIE, CISSP or CCSP. Working in a global environment calls for excellent communication skills in English, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
With a doers attitude and a knack for complex problem-solving, you work to make things happen and are able to both spot the minor details and drive your own job forward as a whole. Your open mind and positive attitude help you enjoy changes, and you’re always ready to turn the page and see the benefits it actually brings. Additionally, you’re a great communicator who’s comfortable taking discussions, and as you’re confident in your knowledge, it’s easy for you to account for technical possibilities and problems to a broader audience.
