For our office in Malmö, we are looking for a Solution Architect at Business Solutions Group Functions in the Property area. This fascinating area is mainly about our Property activities at IKEA: Property shall cost effectively acquire, develop, construct, extend, re-build, manage and maintain sustainable properties to support the IKEA business.
About you
As a Solution Architect you need to have a deep knowledge and experience in application solution design. You have a good knowledge of the relevant business process, it´s strategies and connections to other processes. To be successful in this role, you are willing to acquire knowledge within the assigned solution area, it´s roadmap, life cycle management as well as the IT solutions/platforms. We also believe that you have knowledge from architecture and solution frameworks as well as usage of architecture methods and modelling techniques. You have eexperience in implementing and realizing IT solutions, including project management and solution life cycle management.

About the assignment
As a Solution Architect you will create solution high level design and advice on the implementation of a business solution with an IT component.

Amongst others you will also:
-Lead solution activities within the domain, establish solution- and infrastructure design in accordance to architecture and provide technology advice.
-Identify improvements by elicit, analyse, challenge and document all stakeholder needs and detailed business requirements.
-Provide expertise for roadmaps, pre-studies and design workshops in projects. Advise on architecture standards and ensure fulfilment of functional and non-functional requirements on the solution.
-Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document requirements to guide a detailed design and delivery of a business solutions ? including requirements on configuration management and service validation and test.

About the job
As a Solution Architect, you are responsible to create designs for different solutions as well as for their implementation. Solution design is based on business requirements, IT architecture blueprints, concepts and principles. In the team you are working together with Business Analysts, Solution Owners, Business- and IT architects as well as IKEA?s external vendors for application development and -test.
