In our unit we identify and execute on digital initiatives in collaboration with business areas & Group Functions. The organization is responsible for managing solution design and deliveries within specific areas, as well as driving modernization and transformation towards products.
One of our products is, created now by us, Integrated Supply Chain digital ecosystem (internal and external) for supplier capacity and compliance visibility. It is an important step towards the supply chain of the future: Sustainable, Transparent, Resilient & Flexible.
Role mission & context
You as a Solution Architect will be part of an Agile Scrum team and keep the work together from an architectural point of view for the Purchasing and Operational Management area. You along with other IT Architects in the team will be responsible for the IT Architecture for the Group Trucks Purchasing digital products. Our applications support users from whole Volvo Group and their suppliers. We have IT representation in Bangalore, Lyon, Göteborg and Wrocław.
We create and support modern applications created in new technologies working with DevSecOps approach.
Responsibilities as the Solution Architect
Responsible for securing IT architectural compliance for the Purchasing and Operational Management digital products following best practices and Volvo Group architectural frameworks.
Be part of, guide and support the agile development teams to deliver the best solutions in line with delivery roadmap.
Resolve architectural issues e.g., escalated from projects & solutions.
Secure excellent IT architectural competence through the IT Architect network for the concerned solutions and projects.
Drive the work needed for integrations with other systems together with their representative
Wanted profile
Experience in leading the design, development, implementation, validation and deployment.
Experience of IT assignments in software architecture, information and integration architecture.
Experience in .NET Core or Java, Angular, Microsoft Azure.
Ability to integrate all architecture disciplines (Process, Data, Application, Integration, Technology, and Security) and advise on functional and technical approach.
Have a strong business focus and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of the business
Experience in assessing and manage IT risks and issues.
You are comfortable in working with various stakeholders, navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment and delivering results as a team.
Ability to translate and balance functional and non-functional business requirements into sustainable and cost-efficient solution design.
Have the ability to set right priorities and eliminate roadblocks.
