Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
We are now looking for a solution architect to help in our transformation at Sales IT. Our ambition is to develop great solutions and tools to empower our users to create fabulous transport solutions for Scania Customers. We aim to make it easy for the customer to buy a tailor-made transport solution including vehicles and services.
Who we believe you are – what you will bring to the team
• You will be driving and keeping together the IT architecture in close cooperation with our teams and product management.
• Ensure reuse of functionality and ensure compliance with company-wide architectural principles and guidelines on standards in technical architecture.
• Together with other architects and our development teams ensure that the solutions are modular, resilient, scalable and allow for change.
• You will enter ongoing and new initiatives and gradually become involved in the IT architecture for our different areas in the Sales Ecosystem.
• Lead or contribute to discussions and introductions of new techniques and trends in the Scania IT landscape.
• You will be Leading/Participating in maintaining and defining Ecosystem Guidelines and Guardrails that set the standards for our portfolio.
• You will be running Architecture Forum within the Ecosystem with architects/developers from the teams with the purpose of reuse, sharing and alignment of solutions.
• You are a driven team-player with that takes initiatives.
• You have experience of modular web architectures based on microservice architecture in cloud environments.
• You have communication skills in Swedish (good) and English (must)
