Assignment Description:
We are recruiting a Solution architect to strengthen our project with experience mainly in Supply Chain. The work will consist of being part of developing a solution but also securing the solution and documenting its parts so that these can be used in parallel ongoing projects.
What you'll do:
● Ensure that the solution developed within “Business Ready” project is developed in a viable and secure way which is in line with the company’s strategic and architectural direction.
● Responsible for developing documentation of relevant parts of the solution for architecture review and collaboration with parallel ongoing project with dependences.
● Lead solution architecture work within project and development of solution documentation.
● Collaboration with other architects and stakeholder within and outside project to ensure alignment with architecture direction and other project objectives.
● Evaluate products in the market and see if they can be part of the future system solution and other internal systems / solutions can be integrated to achieve the entire requirements.
● Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
● Designing, modifying, and testing technical architecture and provide guidance to development teams.
● Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
● Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented.
● Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.
Who you are:
● Possess a minimum of 3-5 years’ working experience, focussed on Supply Chain, ERP systems, outbound logistics, warehouse management and EDI.
● Pedagogical and with the ability to articulate complex questions in simplified ways.
● Ability to think critically, recognize and anticipate problems (both technical and operational), and identify and implement solutions in a timely manner.
● Deep technical competence and knowledge of overall IT and technology, along with specializations such as infrastructure, data modelling or service orientation.
● Good communication skills to be able to discuss issues and motivate the choice of solution, both with technical specialists and people without technical knowledge.
● Knowledge of the development process and its stages, development tools and other technologies such as database, development framework, third-party products and more.
