Team Description
In the Product area External and New Sales Channels we extend our customer reach by opening up our assets to new and external sales channels. We are now looking to extend our team with two solution architects / software engineers.
You will be part of the Direct Sales product team. Our mission is to increase H&M Group sales and customer reach through partnerships with new and existing marketplace partners via a direct sales model. We do this in close collaboration with multiple internal teams across the whole organization. We work with several marketplaces in different countries.


Job Description
You will work as a solution architect/software engineer supporting a solution for seamless data exchange in between the H&M group and our external sales partners. This will enable fast and stable onboarding of new partners and continuous growth with existing partners, which contributes to H&M’s global expansion and growth plans.
The direct sales solution spans cross all functions within the heart of H&Ms e-commerce setup, such as product enrichment, customer order, logistics and warehouse fulfilment, accounting processes, marketing and business intelligence. The solution involves multiple systems and their responsible product teams.
You will work in close collaboration with a team of engineers who are building and designing the External Sales Channel Integration solution for seamless data exchange between H&M and our external partners. You will also cooperate with engineers in the product teams that all contribute to the entire direct sales solution, as well as collaborate closely with our external partners´ tech teams.
The Direct Sales product team is run in a multiple supplier set-up, with agile methodology.


Qualifications
We are looking for persons that have an understanding about the retail and online business and how to apply the technical solutions to support the business needs.
Technical competences
Translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable and scalable solution design according to existing architecture guard rails
Perform technical and architectural analysis of requirements and impact analysis
Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative design options which take target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems into account
Collaborate with team to fulfill the architectural design
Cooperate with area architects within H&M Business tech to secure the solution position
Cooperate with Infrastructure and Security architects
Have a holistic view of how the solution adds value and ties into the defined business outcomes
Experience in working with IT/system/solution in preferably large, international organizations working with cloud solutions (preferably Azure), API’s, Agile, and Devops
Having a good understanding of retail and e-commerce
Experience working with different architectural view-points to identify and understand their dependencies
Confident to take architectural decisions regarding functional, information and quality requirements
Experience from using SAFe or other agile methods is an advantage (preferred but not mandatory)
