Solution Architect to If Insurance

We are seeking a talented Solution Architect to be part in our modernization journey
We are currently seeking a skilled Solution Architect to join our team as we undergo a modernization journey in our Finance and Operation department. Our goal is to update our general ledger, financial reporting platform, and associated integrations, and we require a talented Solution Architect to ensure the success of this initiative.
About the role
As a Solution Architect, you will participate and provide value in the entire process, from an idea is created to requirement analysis, design, and implementation of solutions. You will also be involved and takes responsibility for improvement, maintenance, and operation of IT-solutions. Other tasks include providing guidance to business stakeholders and contributing to a coaching culture.
Your responsibilities include participating in purchasing processes, obtaining a comprehensive view of business data and processes, and providing technical guidance to maintenance and development teams.You will create architectural views and documentation, including SAD, solution assessments, risk analyses, and architectural plans. Implementing IT strategies to enhance the effectiveness of our solutions and drive overall business success is also part of your role.

About the team
If IT Corporate is a Nordic IT unit developing and maintaining solutions for business domains Accounting, Actuary, Risk, Cash Management, HR and Corporate Control, among others. We develop and maintain IT applications and data warehouses using new and modern technologies. Most of our solutions and system integrations are based on Microsoft technologies and Azure Cloud. We work according to agile way of working.
As a solution architect at IT Corporate you are part of an architect unit, providing technical guidance, mentorship and architectural expertise across projects, domains, engineering teams and managers. You will be responsible for incorporation of the IT strategy, area strategy, and target architecture into the daily work. This role provides a broad collaboration area with different part of If, and will give you a great next step to your If journey.
Who are you?
We believe you are a team player, working as solution architect today. We believe you have working experience in Bank and Finance, working with Financial ERP, Financial Hub, Financial Close and Reporting. It is a plus if you have experience from a similar modernization journey.
You also have:
5+ years of experience working as solution architect
Working experience from Microsoft Azure technologies such as Synapse Analytics, Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, API Management and Logic Apps
Working experience from Financial ERP (general ledgers)
Strong communication- and documentation skills
