We are looking for a Solution Architect to the PTAG team, Digital Transformation in Marketing & Communication, IKEA Range & Supply

A product without a price tag is always wrong – Solution Area PTAG supports users in all IKEA stores around the world, printing price and product information, we are part of the Digital Transformation in Marketing & Communication at IKEA of Sweden.

Inter IKEA Range & Supply, R&S, is a core business within Inter IKEA Group, responsible for developing and supplying the global IKEA range. IKEA of Sweden AB, or IoS, is one of two core units within Range & Supply, and is responsible for developing and determining the IKEA range and making it available to stores and customers all over the world. IoS is based in Älmhult – the heart of IKEA and the centre of IKEA range development and supply chain.

We are on an exciting journey the years to come and all of us need to be better than ever! We will strengthen the core of what we do in Range & Supply and Marketing & Communication is one of these areas. Marketing & Communication focuses on strategic development of the IKEA product and range marketing and communication, brand building communication as well as communication to the many people inside and outside of IKEA.

We are looking for a Solution Architect to our PTAG team in Älmhult.

Are you experienced in designing, developing, reviewing and approving digital solutions? Do you want to work in an area which requires you to both secure high data quality, to be flexible and adapt to changes with short notice?

The assignment
In a close dialog with stakeholders create and shape business and digital ideas into current state, future state and transition states to guide the detailed design and delivery of business solutions.
Keep up-to-date with technology trends and have an interest in learning new to support the business need.
Select best fitted solution for the given business requirement and develop proof of concept in close collaboration with the development team, excelling the business need!
Govern that the design of the solutions conforms to the solution architecture and is efficient, meet business requirements and based on a holistic architecture.
Responsible for securing the architecture vision and goals of the Marketing & Communication area in the solution architecture and the system development.
In close collaboration with IT architects lead solution activities within the domain, establish solution/infrastructure design in accordance to the architecture and provide technology advice.
Having knowledge about and develop capabilities for the hardware used by the PTAG solution. E.g. portable and stationary printers and plotters, mobile and stationary devices.
