Pilot Partnerships for e-mining products will knock down the first barriers in the industry. Leading the first products in infomercial tests with customers and partners in the mining sector is an important part to support the journey towards Science Based Targets and a happier world.
About us
We are a new diversified team, with 5-8 people, that together will build the Solution Development team for Scania Pilot Partner. We will share competence and learn together in both success and struggles. You will have the possibility to affect and develop both the position and the way of working in the team.

The role
The purpose of this role is to understand and deploy the right pilot partner products in the segment in the right order to fulfill and give valuable insights into the Scania e-mining strategy. This will also show examples for others to follow and create a buzz in the market.
You will have an important role in specifying solutions for the e-mining segment and other segments with body work adaptions. A key is to help the customers with all aspects of the electrification journey coordinating solutions for e-Trucks, charges and other related services such as information management. Travels to remote areas in the world might be part of this position in order to understand customer needs.
Your main tasks
• Coordinate the development of prototype products (trucks, charges, and services) with resources from R&D, Customized vehicle department, and external partners.
• Creating the road map and specifications for trucks in the mining business, not only trucks for in-pit operation, in order to boost the e-mining strategy.
• Manage the learnings Scania needs to learn with the Pilot Partner customers’ needs in order to provide the right insights into the e-mining strategy.
Your Profile
To be successful in this position, you need to be a dedicated team player, service minded, and determined. You find it easy to collaborate with others and are also comfortable with working independently. You can identify unspoken needs, and find solutions and opportunities. You have a mindset to succeed and have easy to see new opportunities. Furthermore, you have:
• A technical university degree or similar and have some years of work experience within.
• You also have experience from the mining and/or the heavy truck industry
• It is a strong merit if you have experience in specifying trucks
• It is an advantage if you have a good understanding of vehicle or power electronics
• A generalist with broad technical leadership skills
• Your English language skills are at a very high level and Swedish is a merit
