Solution Concept Leader – focus on Hydrogen

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Small series within Sales and Marketing is a new function to increase our speed and focus on the e-Mobility value stream. This will be a key component to drive the shift  to sustainable transport . We adopt a holistic entrepreneurial mindset, and with an end-to-end responsibility we have a clear accountability for the e-Mobility small series business. We believe in partnerships with key stakeholders in the eco-system to learn how we can create value and new business 

With Small Series we are creating an empowered organisation that will function as the backbone of the e-Mobility value stream. It will be characterized by speed and flexibility, customer collaboration with a probing mindset, and a focus on developing solutions and creating engagement in the people working in the value stream. We work at forefront together with the actors in both public and private sector to reduce the barriers and accelerate the shift to new sustainable solutions. Through partnerships we will be able to deliver complete system solutions and find new business opportunities. 

We are now looking for a Solution Concept Leader with focus on hydrogen fuel cells, that wants to join the journey to explore the role of hydrogen in a sustainable transport system. You will work in collaboration with colleagues, partners, and actors in the transport ecosystem to create projects and offerings to accelerate the shift to a more sustainable transport system. 

Work description 


• Together with the hydrogen ecosystem strategist, you explore the ecosystem and analyse the future role of hydrogen.  
• You identify critical questions to search answers to in order to inform Scania’s e-mobility strategy 
• You formulate and lead prestudies, experiments, and projects to answer these questions.  
• You are responsible for transforming customer and ecosystem needs to solution concepts. The solution concepts are then realized to vehicles by Small Series R&D. 
• You will work both on a high strategic level, in project leader roles, and hands-on with analytical investigations. 

Your profile 

You have a structured and a creative mindset, look beyond current approached and find new solutions. You use a systems thinking approach and are open to explore different perspectives. You can work both on a holistic level and on a detailed level, and understand how they are interconnected. You have a strategic way of thinking, and consider the wider consequences of decisions. 

You find it easy to collaborate with others but are also comfortable with working independently. Communication skills are important for the role. 

 

You have a commercial and/or technical university degree. You have at least 5 years experience from working with electrified transport, preferably from Scania.
