We’re looking for people with a highly developed ability to model complex systems, see logical dependencies and patterns, understand and develop algorithmic solutions to problems.
Ericsson produces and sells complex products and systems with a high development pace in a global environment with high demands on flexibility, quality and lead times. Our mission in this is to produce configuration rules and tools that support sales, ordering and delivering system solutions.
With imminent 5G rollout and large digitalization programs, a product we need to expand the development team. Our team will consist of software Developers, Development Leads, Solution Architect and Quality Assurance. You will be part of this team with the possibility to take on other roles in the future.
The position requires that you have a good ability to break down product features from development, commercial and product requirements and transform them into configuration rules in an object-oriented and logic-based programming language. We work mainly in the SAP SSC module, Solution Sales Configurator, Java but also MiniZinc and Google OR-tools.
You will work closely with Product Management, System Management, System designers, Supply and other SW developers. Therefore, you must enjoy working in a team, be driven and initiative-taking. You must have the ability to think logically and understand and break down complex information.
You will
• Drive strategic technical leadership
• Develop and test high-quality troubleshooting products in SAP/Java environment;
• Perform troubleshooting and customer support
• Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
• Develop competence in the in technical domain
• Have a key role in commercial configurations
• Design and build product models
• Create configuration rules (object/logic-oriented constraint programming) for commercial configurations
• Work with commercial release and Ericsson Digital Transformation
• Report to Product Development Leader
To be successful in the role you must have
• Education level at university degree, preferably a Master of Science/Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Minimum years of experience: 2-4
• Domain experience in Ericsson Radio System (ERS)
• Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
• Business understanding, planning and organizing, innovating, adapting and responding to change qualities
• Experience with working with people and networking, delivering results and meeting customer expectations
• Experience in constraint and modeling programming languages and willingness to learn new technology on demand
• Agile way of working
• Self-motivation with the drive to solve problems and expand our knowledge
• Ability to think and work independently, and has a structured way of working
• Good communicational skills & proficiency in English, oral and written
• Positive contribution to our team spirit
• Good IS/IT skills
• Database experience (considered as an advantage)
