Solution Design Engineer / Solution Architect

As our Solution Design Engineer / Solution Architect you will for example work with selling and promoting Ascoms products and services. You will also work with marketing and the sales team to develop sales tools to assist our sales and resellers (where applicable) in learning and presenting the Ascom solution portfolio.

Responsibilities
To understand the customer present solutions and challenges as well as to be able to address those challenges with appropriate solutions from Ascom portfolio
Take full ownership of our clients marketing technology by creating a long- and short-term marketing technology roadmap as well as advising, supporting and hosting marketing technology platforms
Develop relationships with key customers and stakeholders and run and support technical workshop events
Actively participate in the pre and post sales of products and solution packages process by providing the sales- and product teams with technical support and expert training to interpret customer use cases
Gather, analyze, and share technical information and feedback to develop the expertise to effectively demonstrate our products and services to potential and existing customers  
Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments
Provide entry level feedback to Product Manager of emerging customer requirements and new vertical markets
Willingness to travel up to 60% (post COVID19)
Qualifications 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field is preferred
Strong experience in ICT skills, university level preferred
wireless certifications (e.g. CWNA) and/or
networking certifications (e.g. CCNA)
Fluent in Swedish and English, speech and writing
Meritorious 
A passion for solving real world problems with cutting edge technology
Customer facing/consulting experience interacting with large scale distributed data/computing solutions
Certified according to ISTQB/ISEB Foundation tester
Deep knowledge of server hardware and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
Strong experience with networking equipment and telecommunications systems (Cisco, Avaya, etc.)
Clinical Solutions knowledge
TCP/IP Networking
Wireless Networking
Telephony knowledge
Has led project or development teams in application design and development of complex systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to tailor communication to all levels of an organization
Demonstrated ability to debate ideas/strategy, comfortable managing constructive conflict, and not afraid to challenge the status quo
