Job Description
Within IT Infrastructure, Client Services is responsible for end user support and workplace services to all Vattenfall employees, delivered by either internal staff or external suppliers.
At this moment we are looking for a Solution Designer within Client Services / IT Infrastructure.
Vattenfall IT is the internal provider of IT infrastructure services for the entire Vattenfall Group.
It is an international shared service center, providing IT services and support. Vattenfall IT Infrastructure supports Vattenfall by having professional people, knowledgeable in both business and IT, integrating services to enable business functions, providing a helicopter view of required services, utilizing the external market, and enforcing standardization to optimize cost efficiency.
What are you going to do?
The Competence Area Printer Solutions consists of the full scope of managed devices from an Enterprise perspective inside Vattenfall from initiation to delivery, both within our own organization as well as through our external suppliers. The Solution Designer is responsible to support the Competence areas and creating the technical roadmaps to support them.
Designing and developing end-to-end solutions and providing recommendations.
Collaborating with stakeholders, solution architects, solution designers, and enterprise architects to ensure successful and timely delivery.
Contribute to the Solution Design team.
You are the first technical contacts for Service Management, Product & Service Delivery Manager (CAR) and all other VF IT departments.
You will be the first technical contact for our business units.
You contribute and support in tender related activities. You coordinate within the Competence Area; you conduct and lead the regular alignment with the internal stakeholders: Enterprise Architects, Solution Designers, Service Management, Security, Service Desk, etc

As Solution Designer / Technical Service Coordinator your main responsibilities are:
Main contact for technical delivery and coordination of activities related to the Print area
Subject matter expert (SME) for Print related topics in general
Design and support implementation of the deliveries and solutions from the Competence Areas
Collect requirements and provide solutions according to agreed criteria – short and long term (life-cycle management, capacity, and performance)

· Incorporates new business demands and other stakeholders input into the overall IT solution design
Support service and delivery reviews - provide input to and support execution of Service and Competence area roadmaps.
As SME support Incident, Problem, CIM processes.
Support the Service and Competence Area (Planning, Development, Operations) of Vattenfall print.

Other activities include:
Contribute and support in tender related activities, contract prolongations etc.
Conduct and lead the regular alignment with the internal stakeholders Solution Architects, Service Management, Security, Service Desk etc.
Design, implement and conduct continuous improvement cycles for related processes to your competence area
Contribute and support projects related to your competence area
Support development of operational policies, procedures, and configuration baselines to support the ISMS implementation connected to your Competence area.


Qualifications
Among your personal qualifications you have an internal capacity to move things forward, are easy to cooperate with and have effective communication skills. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:
At least five years of experience in IT and general knowledge of the current IT Enterprise Print solutions landscape.
Senior knowledge of relevant Device management in Enterprise environments.
Knowledge of related Device/Client/Server/Cloud products.
Good knowledge of IT security.
Fluent in English, written and spoken, effective communicator with conflict/problem resolution skills.
Having an ITIL certification is a plus.
Experience in working in a matrix / outsourced environment working with 3rd party suppliers.
Experience in Project - management with service level and stakeholder / customer focus.
Good knowledge of technical project management.
A particularly good ability to work independently on assignments within a set timetable, set own priorities
The ability to build trust and confidence and to be a team player in an international team.

The position will require incidental travel between Sweden, The Netherlands, Germany, and Poland and other Vattenfall locations*
