Our Exciting Opportunity
Development Services and Infrastructure Test Tool Unit is responsible for Third Party Product (3PP) test tools commonly used for Radio Access Network (RAN) test and verification. Ericsson is crafting the 5G future and beyond, and we are making it possible through close cooperation with users and tool providers!
We are now searching for a Solution Engineer that is highly motivated to work in different team constellations and that also can excel independently. You will drive assignments that involves system and design as well as integration and verification activities. The role includes technical discussions with and coordination between different teams and organizations. The position is based in Linköping and may require travels to other sites in Sweden and in less occasion abroad.
You will
Interact with users, peers and external suppliers to define solutions, test tool product requirements and integration activities using a holistic view.
Drive and participate in technical alignments, functionality break downs and integration activities, ensuring solutions are provided in a timely manner with encouraged quality.
Be responsible for that the assignment tasks in backlog are visible and kept updated with respect to status and latest facts and decisions.
Prepare feature development checkpoint decisions.
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes.
Develop competence in technical domain.
To be successful in the role you must have
MSc or BSc level in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent level of knowledge.
Proficiency in English, oral as well as written.
A good understanding of Project Management (e.g. time plan, resources, risks, global collaboration).
A genuine interest in understanding users needs and pain points.
Accountability for assignments and tasks.
A continuous improvement mentality.
