Description of company Ericsson is a leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally.More than 1000 networks in 140 countries utilize our network equipment and 40 percent of all mobile calls are made through our systems.We are one of the few companies worldwide that can offer end-to-end solutions for all major mobile communication standards.The mission of the Ericsson IT organization is to drive service delivery excellence, source value through service integration and managed partner agreements, and drive innovative use of IT while providing competitive advantage for Ericsson.The IT organization also manages global IT architecture for optimized value versus total cost of ownership.Job description Your role will be to set enterprise strategies and rules in Business Warehouse management based on Ericsson's direction and strategies.You will analyze business requirements and advise on data warehouse component models and designs, products and configuration.This includes recommendation of data design guidelines, standards, procedures, and naming conventions; that is, BI Guidelines.From a BW management perspective, your role will be to: - Describe business processes in order to model/design architecture for, their database.- Document data requirement using data modeling techniques and/or coordinate project work with the Data Modeler.- Propose designs, and document data warehouse and data mart designs and structures to meet user requirements.- Design the architecture for data components of a solution.- Design the architecture database connectivity for data access or data integration solutions.- Specify the physical database design parameters, including instances, table spaces, container size and placement.- Implement the logical database structures.- Build data-integrity controls into the database design.- Develop database backup and recovery processes that meet customer requirements.- Advise on database performance, tuning, and measurements.- Advise the business on data security, compression, encryption techniques, and storage alternatives.- Coordinate data projects as required.You will also be an active member of the BI Competence Center and provide troubleshooting support.Requested competence - A degree is required.- Proven technical experience in Data Warehousing implementation and management, preferably SAP Business Warehouse.- Experience with IT applications within the Reporting/Data warehousing area.Preferably SAP.- Good communication and coordination skills are essential because this role involves extensive communication and interaction both internally and with external partners.- Fluent English.We value highly motivated and self-motivated personnel who are willing to go the extra mile to achieve high levels of excellence.Your application For this recruitment, we are cooperating with Elan IT ReSource, part of the Manpower group.The selection and interview process is ongoing, so please submit your application as soon as it is ready - do not wait until the cut-off date.
