Who are we?
Service Market Logistics (SML) is part of Group Trucks Operations (GTO) within the Volvo Group. We have 5300 employees on more than 60 locations world-wide. Our job is to design, manage and optimize the Service Market supply chain for all Volvo Group brands. This includes making sure that spare parts are distributed from supplier through our warehouse to the dealers, ensuring availability of parts everywhere in the world.
The Material Planning function within GTO SML are responsible for the distribution of aftermarket products, from supplier to our central warehouses. We are on a journey to develop and implement new material planning solutions to enhance the competitive advantage for the Volvo Group. As a consequence we are looking for a Solution Implementation Lead to drive this work. The position is a one year temporary assignment.
What would you do?
Core responsibilities of the Solution Implementation Lead will be:
• To drive the implementation of a new material planning solution within the Material Planning function.
• Manage and lead the implementation team.
• Act as a change ambassador towards the Material Planning teams for the new way of working
• Be the solution expert for new solution
• Drive continuous improvement and enhancement of the solution
Who are you?

You are also great at communicating and collaborating to reach the goals you set up. On top of that we also imagine that you are passionate about trying new things and are always looking to expand your knowledge. One area where we want you to already have some experience in is Agile IT development methods, preferably DevOps way of working. If you also have previous experience from logistics and supply management, it’s very meriting as that’s the core of what we do.
We expect you to have a university degree and / or education within IT or supply chain/logistics area. You have excellent English skills in speech and writing.
