Our Exciting Opportunity
Product Development Unit Cloud is responsible for the development of Cloud Products and Solutions. NFVI and CNIS are the Cloud Solutions, based on the PDU cloud products (CEE, HDS & SDN, EO and CCD), that provides an NFV and CNCF Infrastructure for our Ericsson and 3PP VNFs/CNFs/Applications.
We in PDU Cloud IDS are responsible for integration, deployment & customer support. As part of Integration activities, we are driving CI/test automation & verification on solution level for NFVI and CNIS.
We are now looking to strengthen our NFVi and CNIS Solution Integration & Verification team.
You will
• Integrate and automate our Cloud solutions activities in a state-of-art environment where test cases are automated with JCAT and open source frameworks before they are put into the solution CI loops to protect legacy features
• Perform CI/CD design, implementation as well as solving problems
• Perform automation of tools, test environment and test cases with Python/Java scripting
• Simplify integration, configurations and ways of working
• Report into Section Manager IDS
To be successful in the role you must have
• Understanding and willingness to master the Ericsson way of implementing CI/CD flows based on Spinnaker, Eiffel messaging and related tools (Jenkins Git/Gerrit, MySQL databases).
• Professional system/solution testing skills that master several programming languages (Java, Python, JCAT framework is of benefit) and has excellent Linux operational skills
• Profound knowledge in Cloud technologies: virtual machines, container technologies
• Solid understanding of parts of the NFVi and CNIS solutions and their products (SDI, CEE, SDN, CCD, EO, EVNFM).
• Knowledge in the area of the ELK stack and Grafana.
• Solid and well-structured troubleshooting methods and skills
• Proven experience in planning, execution and documentation of different phases, like planning for how to break down test requirements and execute on these requirements, deliver and report the expected result in the planned timeframe
• Experience with VNFs, both Ericsson and external (beneficial)
• Lean and agile way of working
• Focus on meeting customer expectations and delivering results
• Eagerness to collaborate, learn, change and share new things
• Reputation of being a great teammate, creating and maintaining relationships in an international development environment
