CPA SAP & BA within the Technology function
CPA SAP & BA within the Technology function is a global unit within Volvo Group D&IT in charge of all IT deliveries related to Business Areas (VCE, Penta and Buses) and Group Functions (HR, Finance etc.) The mission of the unit is to ensure that the Volvo Group´s IT solutions and IT projects within the area are managed in an optimal way.


Solution Center Buses
The Solution Center “Buses” is responsible for all deliveries related to solutions in its scope i.e. all the globally appointed IS/IT solutions for Buses. The Solution Center “Buses” has full responsibility for runtime (cost, quality of service) and for the delivery of projects.


Sweden
The SC Buses - Sweden is responsible for all IT deliveries in Volvo Bus Sweden plants, Uddevalla and Borås, as well as industrial applications in Wroclaw and Commercial systems in Europe.
The scope of responsibility consists of maintenance, new development, support and continuous improvements of the solutions in the basket. The function consists of Delivery Manager, Solution Leaders and several Application Developers and IT Architects some at external partners.


We are now looking for a Solution Leader for Uddevalla


In this role, you will be working both in a local, as well as global, context, reporting to the Delivery Manager, SC Sweden. As Solution Leader for the Order & Delivery and Manufacturing & Supply Chain solutions, you are the link between the business stakeholders and solution management/IT development; perform analysis and secure that requirements on the solution are clear and accurate, provide business/process knowledge and solution expertise within solutions delivery team or in a project.


You also perform functional business solution support and secure IT compliance for the financial critical systems. As Solution Lead, you take the complete responsibility, on behalf of the Delivery Manager, to secure the end user, business and IT requirements. It includes both one time and runtime deliveries in application management context. You are the main contact to external vendors for managing and prioritizing enhancements and you delegate needed infrastructure tasks to right instance.

We are searching for someone with the ambition to learn and grow in the Solution Leader role and/or someone already today working in the context of a Solution Leader. You have the ability to manage several activities in parallel and the skillset to cooperate with stakeholders at different levels. You are eager to learn new things and to do your outmost to make things happen.


Key responsibilities
Handle the Process & Solution Key User network in collaboration with the Business process developer
Propose prioritization of changes in the solution like error corrections and change requests together with Key Users
Plans and coordinates when changes and defect corrections should/needs to be in place in production
Solves or dispatches questions regarding functionality (ways of working) in the solution
Secure, together with Key User and application team, IT compliance on financial critical applications
Secure solution competence for functional application support & also participates during handover from project to maintenance
Communicate enhancement estimates to the manager of the business solution portfolio, Process Manager or equivalent

Required competencies
Strong experience from working in an IT delivery organization including solid knowledge about methods used
Domain knowledge in the logistics and/or financial areas will be considered an advantage
Relevant leadership experience (functional and/or line)
Excellent communication & presentation skills are a requirement
Complete proficiency in English is a requirement

Location:Uddevalla or Gothenburg, Sweden.
