Solution Leader Physical Build - ProTOM

Volvo Group Digital & IT, Digital Delivery are looking an IT Solution Leader for ProTom.

Delivery description
You will be part of Physical Build, ProTOM team, collaborating mainly with Volvo Group GTT/VBC/VCE.
ProTOM helps keep track of all Test Objects used to verify all developed HW (Hardware) and SW (Software) across Volvo Group.
ProTOM interacts with over 40 applications and are used by around 6500 users.
You will be working with a great small team of social, innovative and passionate colleagues with a good sense of humor, focusing on the common goal of keeping our customers on the road.
As an IT Solution Leader, you will be involved in both maintenance and enhancements of ProTOM, being the main interface to the key users.
You will also drive the modernization journey that ProTOM team has embarked on - to go from a monolith solution to microservice solution with a new modern UX design.
Working close with support team and business stakeholders, you will propose release plans and participate in priority setting.
You will also set the requirements and approve hand over from project to maintenance.
Part of the job will be related to UAT’s as you will be deciding which business functionalities should be covered.



Main responsibilities
Main point of contact for business when it comes to requirements, training and launching of new functionality
Close collaboration with delivery team to establish solution delivery and release plan
Propose prioritization of changes in the solution
Define and decide user acceptance test and secure that user acceptance test is performed
Ensure that the solution lifecycle is properly executed - establish and update solution roadmap



Required competencies
6+ years experience in an IT leading or coordination role
Good communication and coordination skills
Solid planning capabilities
High sense of responsibility, ownership mindset
Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills
Knowledge in micro service or cloud computing



Location: Gothenburg
Travel: Occasionally as delivery team is in Bangalore.
