To our Procurement department, we’re now looking for an experienced and solution-oriented purchaser, with great communication skills to take part in developing our business and, at the same time, grow with it. Let’s talk about the job
In this position, you create a seamless flow for day to day business; ensuring that all purchasing activities in your area – equipment and aftermarket – are fully aligned with our overall strategy. An important part of your mission is to monitor deliveries, delayed orders, order changes, invoice control and updates of master data to secure stable processes. You also drive weekly and monthly follow up meetings with suppliers focusing on optimizing supplier KPI’s – containing on of time delivery, availability, lead times reduction, forecast planning and buffer stock. Naturally, you establish and manage stable relationships with key stakeholders to reach our goals and grow together!
Other important parts of your mission are:
Managing, monitoring and acting according to KPI’s and developing action plans to correct gaps
and reach our target.
Implementing and executing best procurement model depending on the supplier capabilities.
Giving input and participating in updates and changes of our policies and principles.
Sharing information with key stakeholders and suppliers.
Leading and participating in purchasing projects and activities.
The location for this position is Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities, such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our site located just across from the train station.
What about you?
We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor´s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or Engineering,
or equivalent knowledge gained from work experience. You have solid experience of purchasing or planning, preferably in a project or manufacturing environment. You’re used to reading mechanical drawings, and experience from Infor M3, SAP or another ERP system is advantageous, as well as APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certification. We act in an international environment which calls for fluency in English and Swedish, written and verbal. For this position it’s also beneficial if you’re fluent in German and have experience from working with German suppliers.
You’re open-minded and a true team player, who at the same time don’t mind working independently. With your excellent communication skills and structured way of working, you establish and build strong networks and have the ability to see both the details and the big picture.
