Solution Owner - PDOC/PIA Supplier team
IKEA is on a journey to create a connected flow of product information across the value chain. By using a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system IKEA is enabling a collaborative and efficient product development process to support a product’s entire life-cycle and part centric way of working.
Job Description
In the Range and Product Engineering team we work with a number of different IT Tools that we use to develop and maintain our products, including engineering, documentation, legal requirements etc.
This job is about supporting business and end users within product development with enhancement of the software we use and teach users to work in the software as well as develop ways of working and best practices.
The Range & Product Engineering team within the IT Tools organization consists of several Solution Owners, Business Analysts and Solution Architects working together developing user friendly business solutions. As a Solution Owner you will mainly work with following:
The product backlog; build, edit, maintain and prioritize. Involved in sprint planning.
Shape ideas into concrete features in the IT solution to meet business need and user experience
Accountable for all communication around the IT solution and setting of expectations for delivery of new features and functionalities.
Conduct trainings for our end users to ensure they have proper skills in our tools and use them as intended.
Responsible for managing business relationship engagement
Work across teams to define and implement improvement stories to enhance speed and quality
Responsible for securing that the digital product maximises the business value, controlling the costs and giving input to the overall budget
Responsible to manage dependencies and blockers, improving digital product delivery capabilities.
Gather insights to understand and empathize with the user’s reality.
You will assist with our Super User groups to make sure they have relevant information and are able to support their colleagues in a good way.

To be successful in this role you need to have:
Experience in digital product development
Experience working with product lifecycle management
Experience working in a DevOps set-up
Strong business insight and a strategic mindset
Knowledge and experience working with technology platforms
Experience in working with, challenge and understanding the needs of customers and other stakeholders
Good understanding of project and software lifecycle management
Proven analytical skills and experience making decisions based on hard and soft data
Strong communication skills with business and technical stakeholders
Strong team working and collaboration skills
Experience in driving digital change in a constantly changing environment
Preferred:
Experience from the IKEA value chain
Experience from solutions from PTC Windchill
We work in an international environment which could lead to some travelling. We work with flexibility in our everyday work but primary location for this assignment is Älmhult and this is where we meet and spend most of our time.
