Solution Owner

We are looking for a senior Solution Owner of product information systems for IKEA Business Area Food, IKEA of Sweden
IKEA Food is on a digital transformation journey, building a completely new digital eco system for the food business. This includes IT solutions to support product creation, range assortment, product information channels, sales solutions and much more.
As a Solution Owner for IKEA Food’s product information solution (“iFood” PLM solution), you will work with the core of the IKEA Food solutions, crucial for taking the next steps in our digitalization journey.
Solution management is the foundation for the job but we want you to be strong contributor in these wanted business movements.
We are looking for a business minded Solution Owner to manage and steer the development of the core product information system for the IKEA Food business. You should be technically knowledgeable, understand IT governance and ideally have worked in the food domain.
Job Description
You will contribute to the users having a relevant, user friendly and reliable solution that helps them achieve their business objectives. You will sometimes take the lead in both digital and process development.
Further on you will:
Be accountable for solution business development, release management, life cycle management and the operation of the solution(s), business continuity and business support.
Manage key stakeholder expectations
Manage budget for the assigned solution(s) and optimize internal processes
Secure competence development and training related to your solutions
Be responsible to create and maintain a solution roadmap
Lead/participate in governance forums;
With the Supplier(s) (Software and/or Application Maintenance and Support vendors)
For the Solution (e.g. Change Control Boards)
You will together with stakeholders drive the establishment of management system to move Food into a professional process organisation.
When needed, take lead in digital and process development

We are looking for one or many previous experiences like:
Experience in solution management, and have a strong belief in that digital solutions support business objectives
Experience in working with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems (processes, functionality, roles & responsibilities etc.)
Experience of the food industry
Leadership of change
Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders

You are passionate in influencing and leading other people i.e. working through others. You are enthusiastic, driven, structured and determined, and act as a role model for the IKEA values. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to build trustful relationships. You have also a desire to share knowledge and develop people and competences for a better IKEA. You will network with people both internally and externally. And you need to be a good fit based on the values we share at IKEA

The position is permanent and located at our central Malmö offices, 2 minutes’ walk from Malmö C.
The Digital Operations unit empower our co-workers, customers and suppliers with the right digital solutions to optimise the customer experience and contribute to a growing IKEA. We are based in Malmö, Sweden.
Business Area Food, a part of IKEA of Sweden, develop and provide food, sold and served in IKEA Restaurants, Swedish Food Markets and Bistro´s in 48 markets. Among our Retail Partners there are 18.000 food co-workers serving 640 million food visitors in the IKEA stores around the world
