Solution Owner SA Plan and Balance Sales & Supply within Sales & Demand

The position will be in the Plan Sales and Demand Team for solution Product Change Management (PCM).
PCM supports the planning of range changes in the IKEA Retail Units. It connects what is planned to be sold, with the forecast.
PCM is divided into “Country Range Management” (CRM) where users maintain News and running range on selling unit level and “News split and maintenance of DFUs” where users at IoS split the forecast for new articles to country and store level.

Solution Owner Assignment

• Running business – You assure that our applications are available and performing according to our agreements and even above our users’ expectations.
• Continuous improvements – You support the development of our applications and improving the business by creating, testing and implementing change requests and new standard functionalities. This is done together with our colleagues in the process dimension.
• Plan & Secure Logistics projects and pre-studies – You support these initiatives by being partly allocated or even leading them.
• Interaction with partners – You interact with our partners in business, process, software suppliers and service vendors to achieve good results with best possible resource utilization.

• You have a good understanding of our business and experience from working with the relevant tools and processes in question.
• You have our users in focus and have the drive to deliver improvements that increase user effectiveness and satisfaction.
• You are able to have conceptual discussions to support development and project work.
• You have the capability and motivation for indirect leadership; leading people in projects, tasks and through change.
• You have the interest of working with projects and potentially lead projects.
• You are fluent in spoken and written English and have the desire to work in a simple, effective and understandable way based on our IKEA values.


IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduce 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.
