Solution Specialist within Retail Planning

About the role

Clas Ohlson Digital is in the middle and a large part of Clas Ohlson's business. We have many expectations on ourselves, which means that we constantly strive to be at the forefront and work proactively. We work in several scrum teams and our work is based on the agile framework SAFe. We also work closely with Clas Ohlson IT Operations, where we are involved in several ITIL processes. This is a versatile, educational, and developing workplace.

As a Solution Specialist within Retail Planning, you are part of a development team with several other roles. You have the technical responsibility and knowledge of our retail planning system Mi9 Demand Management. You have contact with the vendor (Mi9 Retail) in the event of incidents and bugs that occur, and you work with planning improvements and upgrades. You will work closely with our business departments for Supply Planning and Assortment planning, preparing documentation so they can do their job in the best way.

About you

You are a team player who solves problems with ingenuity. To succeed in the role, it is important that you are a good listener, independent and good at communicating with different roles in our organization. You already have at least a couple of years' experiences working with retail planning systems or equivalent. We also see that you have:

- High competence in the functionality of retail planning systems, including system technical skills (preferably in Mi9 Demand Management/Just Enough).
- High competence in understanding and translating business needs into opportunities in our retail planning solution.
- Good knowledge in SQL and database models.


If you have experience in an agile approach (eg Scrum, SAFe), this is an advantage. You have relevant education from a university, college or polytechnic, otherwise you have acquired the corresponding knowledge via work experience. You have a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English.
