Solution Train Engineer / Release Train Engineer

We are looking for a Solution Train Engineer / Release Train Engineer to join our team. You will be a part of our R&D Software Development team, where we develop advanced Order- and Traffic Management software to guide self-driving vehicles for our customers automated solutions. In this role you will also be supervise trains at our European Headquarter in Mjölby, where the actual vehicles together with the advanced onboard software of the self-driving vehicles are developed.

Your core responsibility areas;
Preparing and conducting large solution PI planning
Coordinate large solution Deliveries
Measuring and continuously improve the Way of Working as well as gathering the outcome of the ARTs (Agile Release Train)
Facilitate the SAFe rituals for the ART from both STE and RTE perspective
Balance and negotiate scope, time and resources to meet required quality level on features/User Stories, releases and main branch
Responsible for update the solution vision and roadmap
Lead and coach the ART members in all ARTs and actively encourage collaboration
Work with product and solution management, product owners and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
Drive continuous improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops

* Relevant university degree within automation, Computer Science or equivalent
* Proven experience of working as RTE
* Preferably experience working as a Scaled Agile Coach and/or as STE
* Genuine interest in coaching/helping others to develop themselves and to be motivated
* Proven capabilities to prioritize and remove roadblocks
* Great communication skills and fluent in English, written and verbal

Good to know

Gothenburg have been working in a scaled agile environment - according to SAFe for almost three years. We have a running ART, consisting of a handful development and test teams where you will be the servant leader when it comes to delivering continuous value from the train. Mjölby is about to start up one or two additional ARTs where you will set up the Solution Train and guide the appointed RTE's with their ARTs at site.

This role will require travels between Gothenburg and Mjölby, some travels abroad may also occur.
